Pupil Premium is an additional sum of money allocated to the school budget for children from low-income families who are currently eligible for free school meals and for looked after children. There is also a smaller sum of money allocated to children from Service Families. 

The school can decide how to spend the pupil premium because they know the needs of the children in the school and how they can use the additional funding to support them.
